A Bit About Joanna...
Joanna first dipped her toes in the world of children’s literature when she self-enrolled in a writing institute at the age of fifteen. She worked with a mentor to develop her craft and discovered a passion that crossed her love of research with art.
Going on to focus on journalism in her budding adulthood, Joanna began telling truthful stories about her small suburban town in the city newspaper. After graduating from UC Berkeley, she fell in love with the process of healing and connecting her spirituality with writing. She eventually went on to publish her first children’s book, Mom and Dad are Zombies, whilst developing two other novels.
Ms. Quintana is a versatile writer with a talent for healing through the depiction of fantastic characters and their complex situations.
